Hi everybody.

I started in 1980 with Mattel Intellivision (still have it) and then upgraded to C64 in 1983. Did lots of hacking, cracking and programming with it until I bought an second hand Amiga 500 while on holiday trip in Copenhagen in 1988. Only had about a year with it until I moved abroads to study (computer science and programming), gave the Amiga to my little brother. Then dozens of PC-builds, several dozens of Macs, RPi's, consol and Amiga emulations etc. Even tried MorphOS at one point (considering it again). I still own maybe 10 PCs and 30 vintage Macs and some of them I run frequently.

And few years ago I again got myself a C64 and all the cool upgrades. Lots of hw problems even though the C64 was bought from a shop selling recapped and tested Commodores. Had to do loads of diagnostics and repairs until I got it running. Live and learn.

Then couple of years ago I found myself an Amiga 600 which I am now starting to put together and trying to remember how everything works. Loads of new stuff has appeared since I was using one so lots to learn and try.

Happy to be here and read all the stuff people before me have done and experienced. The forums are a great resource for a noob like me. Thanks!

When you did hacking, programming and cracking, you`re certainly no noob and way more advanced than me! Welcome to the forums ! :D

Thanks!

Well, not noob in computers or even vintage computers but at the moment my knowledge in Amiga is pretty much noobish. I only know what little I remenber from 30+ years ago, played with emulators and what I have read in forums, websites or seen in youtube. Practical knowledge about Amigas is yet to start accumulating. I have just cleaned my 600, made plans about upgrades and gathered parts for it.
