Hi,

My area of interest is the glory days of DOS and Windows 9x. My only console has been an Atari 5200 system that I got for the sake of Star Raiders. Still have it, but it is in need of repair.

Nice to see some familiar names from VOGONS here as well.

I'm in Boone, but I went to high school in Durham, got my undergraduate degree in Raleigh and went to graduate school in Chapel Hill, so I have spent a number of years in the Research Triangle. I don't envy you the 100 Deg. F temperatures in the summer.

I could definitely do without the extreme heat. However, I really do love NC. I've been here for 21 years, having moved from Michigan.

I'd really like to get a user's group going for retro computing and gaming in NC. Finding a place for a meeting is the most difficult part.
