In the past couple years I have started to get back into retro computing. My C64, and later, my C128D, were my primary computers from about 1983 to 1992 when I bought a 486 based computer. I was also given a lot of Commodore equipment in the early 1990s (included a PET and a C16) - all of which I wish I still owned. Commodore computers taught me the basics of computing and the foundational skills that I have used throughout my career in technology.

I recently built a SixtyClone C64 and I am in the process of building a C128neo (almost complete, looking for an 8563 chip, L5, power connector, ROMs, DIN serial connector, and DIN video connector). I am also presently installing a c0pperdragon composite video board on a 250407 board, installing a VICII2 board on my SixtyClone, and building a MechBoard 64.

I have done a SixtyClone as well. They are nice machines. I have just created a sub-reddit for SixtyClone owners today. (SixtyClone_Owner_Club)

Hi, I'm also in NorCal. Sacramento. If you are interested in Amiga, we have a monthly meeting. You can read about club details and meeting schedule at sacc.org. Next meeting this Sunday @1:30. While we focus on Amiga and the AmiWest show we host, we also talk about other machines from time to time as others in the club are into the whole commodore line, among other retro interests. I also cut my teeth on the c64/128 and just finished building my BMC64 machine in an old C64 case with a Keyrah adapter. This meeting we have someone showing off one of their SGI machines. You're welcome to join in if you like!
