I'm an old Atari user, 8-16 bit. The only experience I had with Amiga in my youth, was playing Populus with my friend over null-modem serial cable, him on Amiga 500, and me on Atari ST. Back then I was not blown away by Amiga, I was quite happy with my Atari ST.
A couple of years ago I finally bought my first Amiga, Amiga 600 and I like it a lot.
