Hey guys, nice to meet you all. I had a C64 and an Amiga 1000 back in the day and spent many hours on both these machines gaming and learning to program. I picked up another C64 and an 1802 monitor a few years ago, and also a 1541 Ultimate II. My new C64 has recently died, so I'm looking to get it repaired, and I thought I might have a go at repairing the monitor while I'm at it (it has a broken power switch, which seems to be a pretty common issue).

Thanks guys! Yep, I found that thread, hopefully I will be able to figure out how to replace the switch without electrocuting myself
