Hi guys.
My name is Franco and I'm a CNC machinist from the East Midlands.
I have a passion for all console gaming and I have a few old systems as well as new. I also have a huge interest in arcade gaming and I have a few arcade machines as well as a range of PCBs/hardware. The cabinets I currently have are a Sega Astro City candy cab, a Sega Naomi and a Sega Initial D driving cab which is consolised to run a Xbox360. I also have a couple of Sega mini cabs which I am working on.
Out of all of the games and systems I have had I think the Amiga is what I loved the most and have spent most of my time on. I used to have an A500+ and I absolutely loved it. I've not had an Amiga for a good 15 years or so now and I'm eager to get back into the fold again. I've tried to play some games via emulation whilst I have been out of the scene but it's just not the same and I want the real thing™
I was speaking to a friend recently and he said he has a CD32 which he uses to play most of his games on and that you can convert disc images to play on the CD32. This sounds appealing to me and so I'm going to try and pick one up. I've seen a few for sale on ebay which I have been tempted to bid on but I thought I would register here first and see If I can pick one up from some one in the scene as I would prefer to deal with some one from a dedicated forum rather than an random ebayer.
Anyway, that's enough ramble from me. I hope to see you all around.
Franco
