Hello to all,

here's a littele about me, so you may have a picture in mind of who's writing here.

My Name is Alexander, I'm 41 years old and from Germany. Located in Lower Saxony near Hannover. I'm into Amiga since I was an teenager and began my "relationship" with an A500+ , I owned one until 18 and then moved away, and left him at my younger sister... She sold it and I never got an Amiga again until summer 2019... I always wanted an Amiga, like in the good old days, but somehow I used to play my favourite games at an emulated one on pc... But then I was offered an Amiga 500+ again, and I bought it... Since then my Amiga Family grew up... Now I've got an:

  • Amiga 500+, Kick 1.3,3.1.4, 1 MB / 1MB, ACA500+ 7MB, P5 1230 Mk. IV 030/50 882/50 128MB, Indivision ECS V2 an
  • Amiga 1200, Rev1D4, Kick 3.1.4, 2MB, P5 1230 Mk. IV 030/50 882/50 128MB, HD Floppy, DVD/CD-RW, SUM 1200, ext. Scandoubler/Flickerfixer WiFi and a
  • PowerMac 10.1, MorphOS 3.13, 980MB, G4 1,42GHz, Radeon9200 32MB

and no end in sight...

A Vampire 4 SA is already ordered and I'll try to get or build up an OS4.1 system, to have the whole new Amiga Famliy at home...

Most hard part is to get the older components together - I solder stuff myself and try to get better fixing the old hardware on my own. But sometimes you need parts and even help... And that's the point why I got here... Hope to talk, exchange and deal with the community to help keeping it alive...
I'm active at my local amiga scene, too, so I'll not often be here... But from time to time, I'll have a look. And who knows... Maybe I like it here so I have to look more often at this place...

So far my story. Hope to here from you all while staying here!

Best Regards,
Alexander

Welcome! Nice collection. All the best for your OS4.1 system. If you look for classic Amiga you will need a PPC board and that is seriously expensive...

Welcome, nice collection! Obviously needs to get bigger but we're all working on that.

Hi Alexander,

I've also just joined Amibay, and have also just started using my Amiga's again, and adding some more to my collection. I still had my original A500 and all software, so I didn't have to start from scratch. I'm going to use OctaMED again and see what the limitations it imposes will do for creativity :-)

You've already got some really nice stuff! Do you have specific plans for the machines?

Cheers,
Rainer
