Aha, I finally decided to join this great community after lurking in the shadows around here for quite a while.
I used to own A500 and then A1200 in very early 90s. Although I don't have those originals today, my Amiga spirit never died and over the years I re-acquired and enjoy very much a couple of A500s, A1200, A1000, and CD32.
I've been the "keep-it-original-and-true-to- its-time" person but I see some modern upgrades I like now, so who knows, hehe...

I would say that owning more than one Amiga allows you to experiment with the latest expansion options while still keeping some of your machines in original (and more nostalgia inducing) state.

Either way you go the important thing is that you enjoy your Amigas and have fun!
