Hi there!

New member here, drawn by the awesome retr0bright forums :)

I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and I have been a fanatic of everything related to gaming ever since I started with my very first Atari 2600 back in 83....

I'm currently trying to build up my retro collection, in which of course there is a place for the Amiga, currently owning a 500+ with an HDD "sidecar", a 600, a 1200 w/internal CF-IDE adapter and an Amiga CD32. Also an Amiga 1000 but that is being held for me by my cousin in California until my next trip. (I also have an ST but don't be mad, just ONE of those  ).

Then of course I have lots of other consoles/computers, 2600s, C64s,C128s,snes, speccy, etc,etc,etc....

Collecting all this stuff kind of sucks here in my country. Items are extremely hard to come by, and what you do find on our local "ebay" usually falls into one of two categories:

1) idiots that post unbelievably high prices thinking that all collectors are stupid and their item is worth it just because it's "vintage" (even though most items are just loose and not in excellent condition)
2) idiots that have no clue but base their price on the former idiots, and so they also are high

So we're pretty much screwed as far as collecting goes at least at decent prices, although occasionally a good deal will pop up.

I try to take advantage of the trips I sometimes get due to work (last year I went to Europe 3 times) to try to get some good stuff for my collection :)

See you around!
