I had my own amiga 500 in the early 90's and then got an A1200.
I started recently an amiga collection in 2023. Unfortunately, I thought I may spend a few hours per month on it just for fun, but it takes so much time when you try to fix issues.... And I have not enough time to do things properly, as I suppose it is the case for most of you. So I hope the forum will help me to solve issues more efficiently with your help. I can also share my experience.
I've now 2 working Amiga 1200 (of which my old one), an A500 (my old one not repaired yet, there's a continuity issue when pressing the joystick button....), a working CD32, 3 Amiga 4000D (1 fully working with new ACIL card, one working but with obvious PSU repair needs, one working with sometimes CPU detection issue....), and a A4000T with a video module issue (apparently)
My goal is to have them fully refurbished first, and avoid buying additional ones.... I have limited soldering experience + old reminders of electronics courses....
