@ all

If any of you want to embed Youtube clips on AmiBay just put m in square brackets before the video clip URL and /m in square brackets after it and wallah! it's embedded.

Picks up a glow stick and starts handing out whistles :D

LSD what a mythicaly epic group

well for those that like amatures going through tracks they like trying to make them blend together because they hate friggin mc's yammering all over good drum and bass.
i have upload a wmv of me practicing and trying to find tunes that work well together for a set.
Quite a few bits i dont like.

(havent gotten used to using a mouse for crossover yet, and my £1 pound land head phones suck so some of the beat matching sux but i dont notice till i faded it in so i have to fade it out and try again lol.)

also for some reason it didnt record the 1st few tunes.

edit cant seem to get that thingy to work.
tried
Code:
  [ M] video url [ /M]
(obviously with no spaces.) but didnt do squat just made the url text and not a link

edit again
seems that the embed thing does not like the short url's
so did not work with youtu.be/go4xAtXuS2Y
had to find the long link they dont seem to give you any more.

also seems that you tube have muted the 1st 14 mins?
man you tube sux balls.
they have now un muted the 1st 14 mins because im a squeeky wheel.

also please excuse how terrible it is as i do know it is terrible lol. but it gets better after a while then tails off again after a bit. (i would probably start it after about 5 mins 20s or so if you were going to llisten)
once im used to it and have selected the correct tracks it will be fine.

I bought my Atari STe purely because of the midi ports. That combined with a (dongle-less version of) Cubase and an Akai S950 kept me going for a number of years from 1990.

I recall that Micky Finn story breaking about the Amiga ... but whilst they may have been well employed in bedrooms across the nation by 1992, the ST was always standard fare in studios at the time (and for some years thereafter).

As for big nights out, some personal favourites at the time included the much-missed Astoria, World Dance at Lydd and the daddy of them all, Orange at the Rocket (Islington Road).

So I thought I'd chuck up a few decent tunes which fit the OPs criteria (mostly breaks and hardcore) for the benefit of the old cheesy quavers on here... enjoy...

Bit'o proper music!

BB:thumbsup:

You just 'couldn't get it right there', could ya? LOL
Awesome stuff! I've grown with classic rock and hard rock running in my veins, been to concerts of the likes of Steppenwolf, Rory Gallagher, the Ian Gillan band, Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top and plenty more i can't really recall.
Some of them are still active, some are actually dead... (RIP Rory!)
Rythm n' Blues is also a big fav of mine, i just love the Blues Brothers sound, and paid my respects to them by visiting nearly every filming locations they had in Illinois. Went as far as the Joliet Correctional Center too, just to say: i've been there! :)
I do like electronic music, experimental ftw, and have had some time spent utilizing my first A1000 in a music studio in the late 80s.
Fan of The Art of Noise too.

Oh, and thanks edd_jedi. Because of you I've been listening to my old Thunderdome and other hardcore CDs for almost a week now. I've even started ripping samples from a few tracks to turn them into some old school gabber Protracker modules :)

i decided to select some tracks more carefuly last night, and did a bit better.
still not that great but getting there i think.
i still have a slight issue with my on board sound which occasionaly sounds like junk and makes it hard to hear the beat. (could be the £1 head set,)
any way here is a link thing
