Many of you may know this, but it has been a bitter pill to swallow for me for years.
Being able to make (on Amiga) DVD backups was an almost impossible challenge, but I don't know why, one day I insisted on trying all the possible combinations by changing the parameters offered by MakeCD. Finally I managed to do it and as I have not found any solution, neither in this forum nor in any other, I decided to make a very short video explaining what I did to be able to burn more than 700 MegaBytes (a CD) on a DVD.
I haven't tried with 8,5GB DVD's, but I guess it will work anyway.
