Hey folks,

Just getting into the retro scene by reliving my youth on Commodore 64s. Good to see such thriving communities!
I'm also pretty into electronics, designing and building circuits to solve problems or for fun, and also randomly upload my builds and thoughts to Youtube for discussion!
I'm building my collection slowly but surely and already have a few 64s that I've either fixed or are fixing, and a pile of unknown quality 1541's that I'm working through. Getting parts is tricky, so glad to find so many people on here providing alternatives to salvaged bits!

Be sure to check out the Sydney & Melbourne user groups, as well as Amiga Retro Brisbane on FB. There's usually someone with spare parts that may be more local than this board.
Saying that, there's heaps on here that I've found to be difficult to get locally.

yes parts are getting rarer each day and crazy ebay prices to boot!
