I'm also interested in one unit without LCD screen, but I checked Lotharek's store and I dont see an option to buy without.

Also its important to note, his price includes VAT. I dont know exactly which countries this is relevant for (Europe only?) but it should be taken into account, as its a whopping 23% !
Anyway the LCD screen is detachable :)

Yes it's only for European Union countries, you won't be charged outside but you can be charged in your country with local duty.

OK for now we have 11 or 12 units. I will try to get in touch with lotharek today and ask for prices etc. I will keep this thread for about 2 weeks from now for those who might be interested. :)

Hi everyone,
So i received prices for 12-14 units and their are as follow:

Rev. C = 63.70 EUR + P&P
Rev. F = 86,50 EUR + P&P

for about 2.20 EUR more you can choose the PCB color of REV. C.
Those of you who are still interested please confirm your potential orders.
PS. The default color of Rev. C PCB is blue.

Maybe but you know I wanted to buy cheaper if saving 16-17 Euros will make too much "trouble" in this case deduce the VAT for non EU residents (I don't even know the local procedure with the customs and i don't think that as a private person i could do that - only a registered company can I presume), I prefer to buy it for the normal price at his store. Moreover if this group buy will succeed I will have to send all those units to each and everyone of you what is a lot of work though. So all of us have to reflect if this price reduction is worth it - the sale price is for 12-14 units. On my side I proposed this thread and some of you declared interest, so I won't close it before we decide to. :)

I also own a Rev.C of this wonderful piece of hardware, fitted on my Atari STE!
Well using it for 1+ years, I believe that the cased version (the one that costs around 110 euros on Lotharek's...lair) is the most handy, as the software does not fully support disk swapping, unless you press the tiny buttons with you fingers (well, fitted on the fdd floppy side of my STE, is a bit awkward to fully control it). But hell yes, it is wonderful having one of these, whatever its limitations.
More on that, I m not the person that will massacre ATARI's case in order to fit the lcd case of the emulator:p
Now, about ordering another one, well I would be interested to one piece, though I should ask, how can we do that? I mean, we'll transfer euros to a single person? Give me a hint please (haven't got into this before ;) ) so I owe to myself to know before doing anything.

Stock RevC for me please :)

Btw, does that price exclude vat? (I'm in aus and wouldn't have to pay it)

So long as I don't have to pay the VAT then I'm in. :) Please let me know when you are ready.

Heather
