No not really but it is the first time I've officially had a nap in the drivers seat while on a motorway.

In total it took nearly four hours to travel five miles while a lorry that had gone over in the high wind was cleared up.

AFAIK the driver was ok.

Earlier in the year coming back from a job my brother got caught up behind a crash which took hours to sort out. He said a couple of kids got out on the M1 had a kick about with a football for over an hour, I bet not many people have ever seen that!

The m6 is a nightmare, there's an accident a day near Warrington. 4 lanes of idiot drivers!
I seem to get caught in it daily

never thought of having a nap though. I'll give it a try next time (tomorrow) :-)

I nearly fell asleep riding my bike back once from a rally but its not very stable on a 125

Drive a Tesla, they drive autonomously, sleep with 1 eye open though...

I think you'll find they don't. They add some questionable driver assistance, but they are a long way off autonomous. However Tesla Marketing haven't quite understood that either.

Bryce.

Yesterdays trip to Doncaster was certainly an improvement as far as driving goes. No hold ups at all. Just over two hours there and the same for the return trip.

Well if you had both eyes open you probably wouldn't have bought a Tesla in the first place :D
I managed to get a ride in a Tesla not long ago and it really is an amazing piece of technology. It's ridiculously responsive to the point where I felt like I was on a roller coaster. For all that though, the stereo system, phone integration, and iPod/MP3 player integration is incredibly bad.

I read the Dopus 5 manual for 30 minutes on the M75 today just short of Lockerbie (few of junctions before it become the M6 on the English side). Some knacker couldn't drive in a straight line without having a crash.
