Did any one send it to me for work or something??

it has no return address and no forum member name on the box or anything..
( i usualy request that boxes for work has the member name on it and which forum it came from so i know who owns what..)

I think it could have been sent by pinkstabbyone.. but i dont want to start working on it wiithout knowing for sure what the deal is with it..
i will pm pinkstabyone to check that too. but mean while thought id ask here.

I know a member on a diferent forum has aranged work, but this is not that box..

So umm..

Im not the kind of person the xbox gods like, "i assume they would be on Microsoft's pay roll"

i have sent a pm to 2 forum members.. no reply yet lol..

I really need to figure out who owns this xbox before i can really start to work on it.
having said that. i went ahead and did some work already, time is well its not money but it is definatly valuable lol
 
Sent pinkstabbyone's boyfriend a message on g+ to see if its hers and pointed them here.
 
no sender address no return address.. Could have tracking info, but i dont have a number to compare the arival date to a tracking number..

and still no replys from pm lol..

Its a nother one of those great mysteries of life..
hope to get an answer soon though lol. there are more xboxes on the way and i dont need them to start piling up as i try to find out who owns them and what exactly im doing to the things lol.
 
Its pinkstabbyone's I asked her boyfriend earlier, she said she would try to get in touch tonight at somepoint,Although they have gone out tonight...

Its a guess really, as he knows she sent hers to someone in Wales, which improves the odds to it being hers.

oh..
if you want to know what was wrong with it..

it was in the wrong case..
its a 1.6 board in a earlier revision case..
il replace a little collector on it as it usualy gets poped when this happens.. "hasnt popped" but still its been shorted out and i doubt its feeling verry healthy lol.

the staff can feel free to close this thread if they wish.
proffessor layton had help solving this case. "yeah i love my ds lol"
 
It didnt work before in the case it was in :D
So I dont know if it was in the wrong case prior maybe

:shhh: im magic...
its fully working now by the way.
all snazzed up and had my TLC treatment.
 
prety sure its a collector..
I have no probs calling it a transistor though..
But i would never be seen calling it a varance :P

(the 1.6 has no screw holes above the gpu, and the earlier boards did. so there is a ground plate there on the earlier cases which shorts out a bunch of smd resisters. this directly affects the little collector which usualy fails.)
