Just curious - does that machine also have 72-pin sockets ? ISTR that machine or its very close, slightly earlier version was the first time I saw DIMM sockets in a PC.
There was definitely a version that had both .... and they were often fitted with 16MB or 32MB 5V buffered EDO DIMMs .... I remember a few years later I bought a job lot of those DIMMs pulled from the IBM desktops - got em for peanuts as they were no use in "standard" PCs. It was the same as used in Apple 7500, 8500, 9500/9600 et al. Did quite nicely selling those DIMMs to Apple users
