Hey Guys!

Does anyone know what sort of cable the IDEFix Express uses to connect to the express adapter? With the new internal layout in my A1200 to accommodate the CDROM the cable wont reach anymore.

I'm looking for a longer one if anyone knows where I can find it or even if one can be made up?

Whilst we're on the topic of cables, I've searched eBay for SCSI cables and I can't find any useful converters to achieve a 50pin output (for SCSI-IDE adapter) Is it possible again to make a cable for this job?

I was thinking to replace the floppy drive with a SCSI-IDE solution for my storage...

with the gayle adapter it is "idefix express"

Reading the icomp article, i understand that the gayle adapter makes this "IDE FIX express". So, could it be working as is without the adapter?
