I've had a computer magazine subscription for 16 years and that's come with some hundred megabytes of space for homepage. I've used this space to store pictures that I link to in forums. Now my subscription is coming to an end and that means I can kiss good bye for that space.

I do have a DropBox account but what would be the most convenient way to transfer the files between these two? Of course moving the stuff is a small consolation as all the picture links will stop working anyway but I'd like to save the files anyway.

hi download them and copy to your dropbox folder and they will be auto uploaded to dropbox online

If the files are accessible through some web page, you could use wget to download them all in one take. Or a browser addon like DownThemAll & the like.

Thanks, guys! :)

Both are good suggestions. I've got FileZilla installed on my laptop so I should quite easily be able to pull the stuff on my DropBox folder.

Everything is now downloaded to my local DropBox folder.

Thanks for help! :)
