too many rules annoying me...not even allowed to make an offer in a thread is just too ****y.

No one forces you to sell here, the rules are to protect the members (both buyers & sellers) make it easier for our Moderators who donate their time to do their job and keep sales transperent & fair.

You'll find a lot more 'rules' on eBay for example, but if you want a free for all trading venue you're in the wrong place here.

If you can find a better venue to trade that's free tell us all about it ;)

hi subzero it does clearly state in the rules you agreed to when you signed up

Making an Offer
If the seller has stated that they will accept offers then you must post in the thread to state your interest then send a PM to the seller with your offer.

If you dont like this forum dont use it easy as really, but the people here are helpfull and will leave no stone unturned.

Maybe dont buy and sell but still keep in contact with people on here as I have to admit with being on the net for well over 10 years i have not found a bunch of people more welcoming on the net.

 Amibay is awesome.

didnt say i would leave forums, just not going to buy and sell on it anymore.

How would you feel if you made a public offer and someone outdid you immediately and the seller, being after the ### takes the higher offer?
I think the idea of declare interest, pm offer, if accepted buy, if declined either offer more or pass onto next in line to do the same, simples! and also no possibility of bad feeling.

Suit yourself, I don't really know why you botherd to post up a thread about it when you could have just done the decent thing and just stopped trading rather then having a hissy fit over it.

Yes there's alot of rules but they're there often because in the past someone has taken advantage of something or problems arose.
Didn't think I needed to spell that out to you but there you go.

I think that the rules are simple and fair. But again if you have a problem, or you have to suggest something better why not contact an admin about that?

I believe that this thread must close down. :)

Life is full of rules. They exist to create structure and fairness.

If you do not like them then you could have just stopped trading here and enjoyed the forum. No need to have a spaz about it.

I always go against the grain but up until now have not encountered any rules that do not make sense and are within all reason.

The mods and others dedicate a lot of their time to making AmiBay what it is and you should appreciate that instead of spazzing about it.
