Hi there,

I am looking for an I/O shield for an Intel ATX Desktop Board D815EEA2. I have the initial version of that board and NOT the universal version. The I/O shields of the two versions are not identical. The one I am looking for is this one (LAN/USB connector tower closer to COM/VGA/Parallel connector tower, image from the Intel Technical Product Specification document):

If you have one in good condition you would like to sell, please contact me (and include shipping to Germany, thanks).

Hi. I'm sorry to interrupt, but I already mentioned I have 2 Intel D815EEA boards and at least 1 with original shield. I don't want to part with it though, but are you sure it has other dimensions?

The layout your (btw very clear!) scematics seem like a pretty standard onboard-sound-including older vintage backplate to me.

If it's really harder to find, I could have a look as I have a small stash of these io plates, but iirc they were kinda a good fit most of the time (maybe a gentle extra press and it was fixed).

Hi Tetrium!

Yeah, I thought so too. But there's definitely a difference of more than 0.4cm regarding the LAN/USB connector tower placement between those two motherboard versions. Everything else is within your "gentle extra press" margin ;-)

I have attached the schematic from the universal version's I/O shield (offset 122,950mm vs. 127,250mm).

Maybe I'll have one available within the next few weeks. If that won't work out, I'll contact you. Thank you very much :-)
