Hi, my name is Neil and I live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
I grew up in the 1980's and into the 1990's with a Commodore 64, Mattel Intellivision and later with an Atari ST (my older brother also had an Amiga at that time).
I have always had an interest in computers since I was a kid, particularly in:
Programming (HiSoft, STOS, Gamemaker)
DTP (Calamus)
Bitmap graphics (Neochrome, Canvas, DPaint)
MIDI (Cubase) back years ago.
Currently, I am doing some games retro-programming in my spare time using STOS and later AMOS, and also Garry Kitchen's (Activision) Gamemaker for the C64. I am hoping to author some retro titles in the near future, time permitting.
I own some retro machines including A500, A1200, Mega STe, 1040 STe, and Intellivision. I sold my original machines with their software well over a decade ago and I have always personally regretted that decision since!
