Bump, will now post outside the UK (see first post), will PM Kyle to see if he is still interested.

Postage quote sent to Kyle...

International signed for, including tracking and insurance to Italy is £12.85 but I will cover £6 of that (as that would be the cost of postage in the UK). So postage to Italy is £6.85, total is £171.85.

Interested if it's (factory) unlocked and can be used anywhere without software tweak. Also, what about the battery condition and could you please post a photo with an iOS screen of the phone upon boot.

Its currently locked to EE, was on the latest iOS prior to me changing over to Andriod a few months back. How do you test battery condition? AFAIK battery is fine, lasts a couple of days on a full charge with light use.

As for the battery, there might be specific tools to control its condition but i suppose that if it holds a couple of days with normal use is just fine. What concerns me is if it can be used with any other carrier than EE. I think that you can ask them to unlock it for you but i would like you to look into it before we proceed.

And since you are bumping the thread I shall remind you that you never uploaded the photo I asked for and you never answered to my question about factory/carrier unlocking. Officially dropping interest then. Next please.

Yes but AFAIK you can ask to the carrier to unlock it for you after a certain period of time so that's why I was asking. Besides, this is going to be useful for any potential buyer to know and of course the buyer will benefit from a quick sale this way.

@portarinos

I sent you a PM on the 23rd answering your questions, as you did not reply I assumed you were no longer interested.

The phone is locked to EE, as stated in the original post. I no longer have an active contract on this phone, as explained in the PM, so I'm unable to arrange to have it unlocked by the carrier. I had missed your request for an additional photo, you could have sent me a PM, its usual to do so if you are declaring interest in an item, I also mention do so in the first post but so far you have not sent me anything.

Let me know if you still want the photo.

Cant do photo, just tried but as I don't have an active sim any longer the phone won't progress through the setup screens (did a full reset before boxing it up), any ideas?

No PM received by you as far as i can see. Just rechecked and nothing appears until now. I never PMed you cause my belief is that if you strongly want to sell you can provide answers in public so that the thread is kept updated for everybody that might be interested. Everything open!

Anyway, i'm no longer interested but i think that what i asked for might be useful info for any future buyers and you can always upload a photo of the phone upon boot at least with the Apple logo appearing just to prove that at least it works.

Portarinos, with the greatest of respect, there is a picture of the phone at lock screen, proving it works already.

Just to add for future reference too, it is the potential buyer that is expected to PM the seller after declaring interest. They will then get an email notification telling them that someone has sent a PM to them. Sellers aren't always checking sale threads every 5 mins no matter how much they want to sell something.

Please keep this in mind :thumbsup:

Point got. I stand corrected about the photos. As for the rest, i mainly judge by my attitude as a seller. When both parties are interested in buying/selling, it doesn't really matter who makes the first step:D Just kidding anyway :)

Good luck with the sale :thumbsup:
