Hi all, i have had my upgrade today to the iPhone 6 Plus so my old iPhone 5 is up for sale.

Its the standard iPhone 5 (not S or C) 16Gb. Its had a hard plastic case over the back and screen protector on since new so no major marks or scratches to the casing or screen.

The mark on the screen is on the protector only and there is nothing on the screen itself. I will leave the protector on for the new owner. I will also leave the plastic case on for the new owner.

There are some chips to the paint on the top edge (see last pic) and a couple of tiny marks on the back casing.

Its never been jailbroken and is running the latest IOS 8.1.2. Has been factory restored and is not linked to any iCloud accounts.

Will come with an original iPhone 5 box (has a few dents around the edges) however during my contract i had to have the phone replaced by Apple so the serial numbers on the box and the phone are different.

Also included is the Lightning cable, plug and unused earphones.

It is currently locked to EE however i found it can be unlocked online for £19.99 at Officialiphoneunlock (i did ask EE about unlocking but they said they wouldn't do it till the end of January by which time i'd have had the phone for at least 24 months and they charge £29.99 and it would then take up to 28 days).

I am looking for £110 which includes UK shipping

Just to keep the thread updated, quest has pm'd and is looking to continue the deal but would like the phone unlocked before proceeding.

I found the link in my post to be untrustworthy after a little more digging so have been in contact with EE again who have agreed to unlock the phone providing i provide them with a receipt from Apple showing that they replaced the device and not some random 3rd party. Once they have this the unlock should be processed in 7-10 days so this may take a little while.

Thanks for the patience

Yeah it does on the website and I filled in the online form a few weeks ago and got an email back saying they wouldn't do it till the end of January (when my contract officially ends) and then it would take up to 28 days. It also quoted me the price of £29.99

after arguing with them on the phone today though they've agreed to do it for the £20 as long as I send them the proof that it was Appke that replaced the phone (despite them arranging it all within one of their own stores).

To be honest I've had nothing but problems with EE since I joined them which is why I've moved back to O2 with my new contract.

Also expressing possible interest in the event it gets down to me. My android phone is annoying the heck out of me and I keep missing calls. Besides this I could use it as a development device. :D

cheers.

As explained to Quest by PM i am having an extremely difficult time getting this phone unlocked by EE.

Despite them charging me for the unlock and sending me texts and emails saying its been processed the phone remains locked to EE and after 5 or 6 phone calls i am still not getting anywhere and they are refusing to refund the unlock and are telling me they cannot process it again. Based on this fact i am going to withdraw the phone from sale for now and will possibly re-list if i manage to get it sorted.
