Is this gaming pc any good ?

It's not bad, more than likely it will serve your gaming purposes for the most part...with the exception to VR.

Have a look about for an added boost like cashback website or similar to save a few extra £
 
GTX950 is not a real gaming video card, I'd go for a 960 at least.
It's lacking an SSD and it only has 8GB ram.
I think it's rather expensive too. Not really worth it.
 
I wouldn't touch a gaming pc from Curry's full stop. Goto a specialist like Overclockers and use the build your own option. That way you can configure it to your needs and budget. Also the build quality will be top notch.
 
It's just a personal opinion ... but I prefer 16 GB ram and SSD hard drive....
 
Now is not the best time to build or buy a gaming PC with Ryzen and Kabylake just around the corner (a matter of weeks) set to bring competitiveness back to the CPU market and reduce price vs performance.

Kaby Lake is already available and it's nothing special compared to the last 2 or 3 generations from Intel. The price isn't exactly great either considering there's barely any performance improvement. I'd wait for Ryzen.
