Since "Peace on earth and good will toward men" is not a likely wish to come true, I'll just settle for a gold-top MC68030RC40 to replace this darn MMU-less MC68EC030RP40 on this GVP board...I guess. Start small and build from there.

WISH LIST TIME!
I wish for:
Amiga 1200 Zorro II or Zorro III solution. Something simple that goes between the accelerators and gives you at least one slot, maybe two. Maybe with a ribbon to allow some flexibility to position a slim RTG card in a 1200 case like a mini GBAPII++, or maybe some other larger cards inside a Checkmate case, etc.
TF2040. Oh sure, it's already said that it's not coming. But it does exist in prototype form, and maybe, just maybe it will happen. One can wish! After all, the Amiga 2000 is the best selling big-box Amiga of all time, so the TF2040 would find a very appreciative audience of wishers.
Amiga 2000 CPU slot to 1200 accelerator adapter. If that long promised ACA2000 doesn't happen, an ACA2000-like CPU slot to 1200-accelerator slot adapter would be a lovely thing. Just imagine all the TF1260s that would go into 2000...it would be out of control!
