Keyrah v3 vs SUM USB

Has anyone used the latest Keyrah (v3) with a SUM USB adapter? I need to.replace a dead v2 in a checkmate case but before splashing the cash, would like to confirm they work together.
Neither Jens nor the guys who do the SUM adapter can confirm, so has anyone actually used them together?

I'll see which versions my two Keyrah are, but I suspect it's a v1 and v2. I do have the SUM1200 in my A1200 Checkmate 1500 plus.

If you know the V2 to work with it, I'd rather ask Jens what changed software wise and power consumption wise between the V2 and V3.

If the HID logic changed a lot, or if it draws more power (emphasis on the latter) then it looks bad for the V3.

The SUM1200 has been reported to have poor compatability with modern gaming keyboards with high power consumption. I use a modern QMK Via firmware keyboard on my SUM1200, but it's a keyboard without LEDs under each key. My Simulant Amiga USB keyboard is very similar, but will not work with the SUM1200. Dunno why.
