Sold Kipper2k 8mb IDE for CDTV

Hi I have a Kipper2k CDTV 8mb RAM board.

He built it so it doesnt autoconfigure as the CDTV has different memory address to A500.

As I am using another solution, I would like to swap it for an A500 version. Now available for sale at £60 + postage

The only difference between the 2 is one chip(the one with CDTV on it). Contact Kipper and ask him to sell you the chip for the A500 (about $5)

I think you can use the program addmem (download from Aminet) to add the 8 Mb. Fastmem.

addmem start 200000 to 9fffff

No. The A500 chip only works in the A500.

I didnt know that. I might contact him, it will probably be cheaper than the shipping costs of a swap!

Plus, if you do sell it later you have a wider audience, A500 or CDTV.

Now available for sale at £60 + postage. Can mods please update title to reflect.

Please note that although this is configured to work with CDTV, you need to make some mods in order to close the lid. Ill put ARTI first in line as he hasnt withdrawn yet and then move on.

It has a CF adapter built in so CF adpater and 8mb RAM.

MODS required are to move some capacitors out of the way to enable lid to close.
