Packet received and positive feedback.

Trying to get it running on a A600. Very good support from the seller.

It now actually works. I can program a ROM into it and the Amiga will actually start from it.

Thanks for the support !

For info, installation in an A600

We'll never know what happens if you accidentally plug the rom in the wrong way around ;)
I put a white dot near pin 1 to help with the orientation but it's quite small and it's near the header so I can see how it might get overlooked

A few more roms are coming in a couple of weeks, unfortunately I can only make them in very small batches, soldering small SMD components is quite time consuming...

Kickstart 1Mb works on Amiga 2000. I recommend.

Received payment from abundantmussel

Finally got some more components so I now have 4 more roms available if anybody else is interested

I see pin A18 and A19 on pcb, is there posibility to use 2mb rom ?
Good catch :)
I might eventually make a 2MB version but at the moment I'm using 1MB chips, the board was designed with both options in mind so that's why there's a pin marked A19

That pin is currently used for the external reset line

how much for 2mb version ?
At the moment I don't have one available, for a 2MB version I will also need to make some changes to the firmware so it might take a while

Unless you need to use the full 1MB for a single rom image you can still have 2 separate images, one in the lower 512KB bank and one in the upper 512KB, and switch between them even with the 1MB version

It's not as convenient as having 4 banks but since you can reprogram the rom quickly it's usually not a problem :)

I would like to make custom rom with scsi.device, eide.device and partition contains workbench, filemaster and other useful tools. I saw that it's possible but need 2mb space.

Declaring interest. Is it possible to have one with ehide.device too included to use in a a1200 with terribile fire 1230 64 mb ram ??

I updated the first post and added a new item, it's a small module to program these roms from an Amiga.

Totally unnecessary and actually slower than programming them from a PC via USB due to the speed of the serial port, but I thought it would be cool to have an alternative to the PC software so here it is :)
