Interested in two kits![]()
Interested in 1 kit please.
I was waiting for this for years. Great job dude! I will buy 6 kits from you.
Ordering the parts from various places, collecting parts for the kits (and marking the unmarked chip capacitors) and preparing the gamepad shells (disassembling the usb gamepad, removing the face buttons sticker, drilling hole for the led, cutting and applying the logo sticker and cheat sheet sticker) all takes time. Why so few available? When will more be made?
It's possible, currently I'm not selling any assembled gamepads, sorry. Maybe you can find somebody that can assemble a gamepad for you?If there are ever any assembled kits going in the future, I'm 100% keen. Sadly, the assembly is beyond me.
I have set up another thread here: https://www.amibay.com/showthread.php?101948-KTRL-CD32-PCBs-and-Components . Any new orders should go through that thread since I (at least currently) don't offer the cables and gamepad cases.

The wired and the wireless versions in general work on Amiga 1200 but on some machines there can be problems. I have updated some component values that I know have fixed the problems some were having but I can't guarantee it will work on all machines. Even the original CD32 gamepad doesn't work on all Amiga 1200 machines. From what I have read, A1200 Rev. 2B has problems even with the original CD32 gamepad. I can't say which board is best with the KTRL CD32, I have tested it on a Rev. 1A, Rev. 1B and Rev. 14D successfully, but then again I have had a few reports of the gamepad not working on the 1D4 (the new component values fixed the problem for one user that replaced the components). If it works on your machine then it will have full functionality (working as a CD32 gamepad or as a 2-button gamepad depending on the game). That's totally understandable. Hopefully there will be a means to purchase these assembled eventuallyI'm pretty intrigued by the wireless version too, so I'm happy to wait a while and see where this goes.
Edit: Out of interest, will the wired/wireless have full functionality on an a1200? I see a lot of mention of the CD32 and C64. Are there certain revisions of a1200 boards that don't work well with the gamepad so far?
Is there anybody who is able to assemble a kit for me? I would so love one of these, but have absolutely no knowledge of electronics
If there is please let me know what this would cost.
