Wasn't on my telly, during those minutes a commentator was talking over some old fellas laying flowers on a memorial. No sight of people stopping for the silence. (BBC1 this is).

I was on my way back from dropping off some C64's to an Amibayer so I had to make a diversion around the M25 so sadly missed the service in Otford (the road was completely closed so I had to divert )

A little bit later, maybe about 10 past 11 I hit random on my MP3 player in the car and a song my friends band recorded years ago, It's a Punk track called beaten, broken, burdened played. Danny (the lead singer) wrote it, was about his Grandad who served during one of the World Wars.

I hop it's ok to post it in this thread, I thought in away it was quite spooky that song came up on random today! (out of over 4000 tracks)

I gather it was 11am everywhere so I missed it, I was being silent then anyway and took 2 minutes at 11 minutes past anyway.
