After seeing some really cool videos on the choob I've decided I'm going to make a mini, an I mean nano scale, arcade machine. I know you're wondering, what is he going to pick? Ready?
There really is no other choice, always fancied one so time to make a mini one.
The issue now is one of scale and wheel... Anyone else remember those controllers you could get back in the days that had a tiny little steering wheel on? That would be perfect to use for the control aspect. Gears and the accelerator/brake I'm still thinking on, gotta get the wheel out of the way first.
Anyone on here ever made one before or can remember what the controller was called?
All in all I'm looking at doing something like this:
And I'm going to be using a PSP as a donor for the bits and pieces and to run the software on.

Whilst not the controller I'm thinking of, this could do the job:
Good points - all the buttons are there to be wired up, small size.
Bad points - only half of the steering wheel moves.
