It is Stephen Leary's rewrited CDTV.device, wich seems to be main reason that accelerators doesn't work with CDTV, as it blindly uses any ram its given for DMA memory. Somebody could check if this already work?

Well, some other accelerators also work, but you have to move capacitors or modify the case to close the CDTV. I don't want to do modifications to the CDTV that I cannot undo :)

Define "work"? Some works but it is not possible boot from CD. Accelerator to work with CDTV, it would need to have NO ram, or ram needs to allow DMA access to it from CD device (drive) of CDTV.

Yes, it has to have no ram. But there's accelerators like that, I managed to plug in a Neuroth 68020 accelerator with no ram using a couple of riser boards. The card I have has no RAM (I have the 8MB expansion for the CDTV diagnostic port and the CDTV SCSI expansion) - CD booting still works with that card, but I cannot close the lid :)

Hi. I bought 10 of 14Mhz Accelerator boards (Nice and cheap) on order. The CPU for the board is a 68HC000. I bet me ass they'll work in a Amiga CDTV, and a IDE board, and 8MB like these..

There is 14MHz accelerator card dedicated for CDTV. It is Savyna 68k (+)Plus. It has 8MB FAST RAM (and probably also 1,5MB SLOW), and IDE controller on board.
(There was also Savyna 68k but 7Mhz only (just RAM and IDE)).
There is also Wicherek 14MHz and separate dedicated 8MB FAST card connectable to CDTV diagnostic port.

The green ones look similar to AdSpeed and the IDE version so probably would work.

Sounds like a board I should get, nice modest speed boost and looks like it would fit.
