I sold my Amiga 3000D 20+ years ago. Recently I found some old paperwork for it and wondered if she's still out there somewhere.

My was an early model A3000/25mhz with the ROM tower. She was upgraded with 3.1 ROMs and maxed with 18MB. The drive bay had a large hole cut in it to accommodate fans & heat sinks on my CSPPC/060, so it could only hold one floppy drive. The case was painted black, except for the A3000 label in the upper left. The picture attached is circa 1999. The paperwork indicates that the serial number is CA100515, purchased in Pennsylvania, USA.

If you have this Amiga 3000, send me a message.

Thanks.

Jaeson

Quite possibly the first black Amiga, before black became a thing?

I wish you would add the original prices :)
How did you make it black? You glued black sheet sticker on it or just spray painted?

I'll have to dig out the paperwork again. The educational discount was about 25% off. The A3000/25Mhz started off with just 2MB (1Chip & 1Fast). Then I started get more memory in 4MB increments, moving that first 1MB over to Chip RAM. The drive was supposed to be 40MB, but it arrived with a larger one. AmigaVision was included. I also got the 1950 monitor.

I covered the A3000 label part and spray painted the rest of it black, sometime around '94 or '95.
