Looking for a simple Atari STFM for gaming, at a reasonable price.

Requirements:

- good shape, little to no yellowing
- must be NTSC (put that in the title also as to not waste people's time)
- can be either 520 or 1040, and if the formet to have if possible expansion to just 1MB
- tos 1.04 if possible
- trickiest: able to be shipped so it arrives to Budapest before Aug 4th or to the US (Texas) before Aug 13.

Thanks!

1040STF, switch and upgraded floppy was added by the shop in california 20+ years ago so both color and monochrome monitors can be plugged in at the same time.
I bought it from original owner, nothing has be tampered with inside. All original TOS I think 1.0, machine is NTSC.
So 100$ for computer itself, no cables etc. I will leave language disk in drive so you can boot with it. I was using monochrome cable to test it now so I am leaving switch in that position.

Hi thanks for the pics.

Bit surprised, cause I don't have/like modded machines, and thought it was in it's original state :(

I suppose you don't have an un-modded one?

Sorry. They were adding these switches long time ago for convenience so people can have color and monochrome monitor connected at the same time and toggle in between. Computers were already wired with 2 monitor ports just switch was being added, simplest mod in universe. And floppies were swapped to more reliable PC ones because big button Atari ones were junk. original owner I bought it from had it probably done when he bought the computer from Atari dealer.
Computer has perfect color and no yellow or scratches. i wasn't planning on buying it myself since I have STE but it was so nice and clean I could not pass.
It's perfectly fine if you're not interested.

thing is also I can see myself maybe going for it and wanting to restore an original floppy and how much that's gonna cost me too...

Hi, can you tell me just in case how long the shipping you quoted me would take? something happened that might make me get it anyway... (specifically I bought another machine in Europe, and STE in this case, and my brother just sent me pics and the shipping company damaged it -oh the retromanity...!!!" So might consider swapping the drive.

I would not bother swaping drives. Drive that is in my STF is better and more quiet. But it's up to you. Shipping will take 5 business days from whatever day it's posted. (Fedex)
