Looking for Total Chaos Version 7.09

I have registered copy of Total Chaos Version 7.09 but the lha package in aminet is 7.11 and the lha package I have in my CD is 6.3. I am looking for an lha package demo version of 7.09 for Total Chaos. If anyone have the lha package in their home either via HD, CD-ROM etc for version 7.09, is it possible please you can send me the lha package demo version 7.09 so I can registered it with my already registered copy of 7.09 total chaos exe?

Did you contacted James (ChaosLord here) directly? He is an awesome guy and will respond you as soon as he gets into the computer.

Notice he have carpal tunnel syndrome and may not answer promptly as he may be in a pain attack.
 
He left me 10 pms about it but I did not know they were there.

How did your old v 7.09 stop working?

When I gave u v7.09 exe you had all the datafiles free from Aminet.

Then months/years later I made some upgrades to v7.11 which broke compatibility with the old datafiles set and now I have done more upgrades on my HD that add more features but break compatibility with the old datafiles yet again. Its the curse of game dezine to alwayz be upgrading and needing a whole new set of files, not just the new exe.

Where are your old v7.09 files?

It is possible I have a copy of them somewhere but its very doubtful. I would have to dig thru a lot of old hard drives to check.


I will make a new version of the game, like v7.30 or v8.00 as soon as I am medically able. Believe me it is my life's dream to make the new version but my doctor's are keeping me ill on purpose and robbing all my insurance money and playing games with my medication. When they see me getting better they cancel some of medicine and cut way way back on other meds. Now they make me go in every 2 weeks and torture me and hurt me and make me do unneccessary medical "tests" which provide no benefit to me.

Total Chaos AGA won't work on ECS machines but

Back in 80's and 90's I made ECS versions:
The very last version was eventually archived here:

It requires an ECS Amiga with 68020 and 4MB fastram. Do u have such a machine?

My friends and I all had accellerated A500s or A2000s or A3000s in early 1990s so we all had 020+ processors.

ECS Version gfx are very primitive compared to AGA version.

ECS version user interface is very primitive compared to AGA version.

AGA version is funnier too. AGA version has more monsters. AGA version has more majix. AGA version has more alien technology captured from crashed flying saucers. AGA version has more soundfx. AGA version has better AI with intelligent pathfinding. etc. etc. etc.

I don't understand why anybody plays the ancient ECS version but it still has a fan cult who play the ECS and ONLY the ECS version. Well Amiga pplz are strange sometimez :p :whistle:

If u play it, try not to delete ur files like A500daBest did :lol:

He got addicted to the game and now wanders the internet wailing in agony that his life has no purpose now that one of his fave games got deleted from his HD. :) Don't let such a terrible fate befall u. :D
