Any plans to let people buy these from a EU distributor, for customs reasons? I could use one for my Reloaded board since my regular Lumafix will not fit underneath the keyboard due to the ZIF socket.
I'm sorry to say this but you will likely have exactly the same problem with LumaTOLB.Any plans to let people buy these from a EU distributor, for customs reasons? I could use one for my Reloaded board since my regular Lumafix will not fit underneath the keyboard due to the ZIF socket.

It is only slightly thinner than a normal LumaFix.
Part of the solution may reside in the type of VIC-II you are using. If you have a 8562/8565, no heat sink is required.
interested in 1x PAL and 1x NTSC version, will send a PM
I really suggest you use a breadbin case for the config you want.I have no heat sink on the VIC-II and it just fits underneath the keyboard, so there is not much room for extra stuff being added there. So I guess the LumaTOLB is only compatible with Reloaded boards without ZIF sockets, or perhaps in breadbin cases (I use mine in a C64C case)?
This is a bit of a trick question because the prototype requires a pair of passthrough pin headers which the final version will not have. What is the total height of the LumaTOLB (potentiometers included)?
Paypal has concatenated your address on a single line of text and I can't make sense of it.interested in 1x PAL and 1x NTSC version, will send a PM
payment made.. good luck on the project![]()
'Typical' is irrelevant. There are many licenses used with open source designs that does not require derived work to be open sourced as well. What matters is which license was used for the original work and if nothing was specified, then you must accept that all bets are off. You can't expect people to read your mind.are you releasing your design? I would suggest that you do since it's derived on one that has been released, the lumafix. That's the typical opensource license model, even if the creator of the lumafix didn't specify one.
There is no programmed chip on LumaTOLB. Anyone looking at the board components and traces can see the design. Perhaps even copy it if they feel it's worth their while.are you releasing your design? I may be mistaken but it is e5frog (Fredric Blaholtz) who designed the PCB for the LumaFix boards I have seen. Well, it is also him who designed the PCBs (proto and final) for LumaTOLB and I can assure you his name is there. The PCB clearly says 'by Francois and Fredric'.Maybe I should have phrased it differently (not that it matters how I phrase it). The original creator freely released the lumafix design. It would be a common courtesy to also do the same for any derived work. But some people don't follow the same moral code, now do they?

If there is somebody else who should have been mentioned then... forgive my ignorance.
I made modifications to his design and he implemented them in LumaTOLB's PCB for me.I know efrog did the lumafix. I was unaware he also did the lumatolb. If that's the case and you've made no modifications to his design, then I apologize.
