Hi!

I installed the latest MagicWB available on sasg.com. so far, I do like the modern/vintage look on my ECS Amiga. However, the official registration page is down.

Is it still possible to get the full version of the software? Where to register?

Cheers.

What I know so far, is that you can register your MUI copy, but they send you a generic (someone else's) key instead, with the excuse that their Amiga is dead long now, together with the register number generator.

But why do you want to register MagicWB actually? There is no difference I think if you register this product or not (which I think you cannot register it anymore). If you get the installed icons with the "Demo Copy" label, you can easily change the icons to normal ones.

Yeah, the "unregistered copy" thing bother me.

I've no problem to pay a fee to get registered. Unfortunately, it does not look easy.

How to get ride of the select "unregistered copy" thing?

Cheers

Yes I was given that BS line also. As I recall you get the AmiKit guys registration details. Is it really that hard to retrieve the source code from their Amiga and compile it on a modern system so that they can run new users details through it?

...or even create a new one from scratch, seeing that Amiga users still want to buy their products...
