For me:
A3000D - Recapped by Hese!
OS 3.1.4.1
Warp Engine 060 & 80MHz
Mediator 3000Di
K1 PPC
Radeon 9200 1280 X 1024 DVI out
X-Surf 100
Prisma
Acard 2000SUP SCSI to SATA and a OWC Black SSD

Almost fast enough! LOL. I do wish for just a little bit more speed though...

Use it purely for productivity and work with:
Simplemail - POP still can't get imap working with ISP...
TwinVNC
Ibrowse
Checkitout
AmiBack - backing up to my NAS - Works perfect and even write 4 gig archive files and restores perfectly from them.
Dockbot
Organizer
Amigaamp - 2.25 as newer version 3 are still crash prone on my system.
Adpro
Final writer - with the arexx port for PDF writing.

My noteworthy hacks:
Executive - a real must for heavy multitasking
TLSFM - when not using PPC.
Copymemaio
Fastcache
MyCPU060
Memtrailer
Minstack
Copymem060
UtilPath060
RamseyConfig

Believe it or not it does run stable...

For a system restore from a blank system I use the network boot floppy and run Amiback from the NAS and it takes no time at all..

This rig is not configured for games at all... Quake 2 on the 060 only gives 5 frames per second and the PPC version won't work because of the Radeon.

I *love* these threads... just reading what everybody use their Amigas for just makes me smile...

My main Amiga is a 3000T. I bought it off Ebay about 10 years ago from a dodgy guy. Guess I got lucky and he did really send me the machine. I've done the INT2 mod on it, and built it to be the Amiga I never had when it was current.

3000T
CyberstormPPC with 060 and PPC604
10k7 Seagate SCSI drive on the CSPPC
DENEB
Cybervision64
Ariadne ethernet
A2386SX PC card

Runs OS3.9 with BB1&2 and Roadshow.

Had to replace the floppy drive as it was broken and a lot of HDs have failed me causing a few reinstalls. I now have a fan pointing towards the drive which really helps. Also found a nifty program on Aminet that checks for a temperature sensor and prints out the result. Recommended to do. The drive is insanely fast...

I've never run games or demos on this box but I do have a number of development environments setup (including an official release of SAS/C, VBCC, GCC and some others) to do a bit of programming. I've always wanted to create an accelerator and worked on the UltimatePPC but never got any proper software done for it unfortunately. Now I play around writing old-school C code for SAS/C trying to do some funky stuff on the Roadshow library. I even got NComm running on my US Robotics modem (using a SIP gateway) to some BBS still running on a phone line. Good times...

The bridgeboard I just liked to get running and it immediately reminded of how basic a PC was at that time. I want to get Fritz7 running to ge beaten in Chess by a 20 year old program on an ancient CPU but it needs better graphics than can be done by Janus unfortunately... Ah well, it runs!

I've sold most of my other stuff (3000UX and quite some expansion cards...) here on Amibay as I was not using most of this stuff but I still have a barebones A4000D with a SCSI2SD v5 in it with games and WHDload that I occasionally play games on with the kids. It's been recapped but still relatively unstable. It will just stop working at some point and no matter how many reboots etc. just not return until a few hours later. It also helps to fix the 3000T when I mess up the software to have another working system. Also have an A3000D that I'm never letting go off. It's stock and slow with an ACARD SCSI to SATA 2.5 adapter... will get it up and running and do something useful at some point...

I also love reading these threads

Main rig right now: a2000 with gvp 030 50mhz, buddah 20th anniversary w/dual flash cards on slot adapters for easy access, bridgeboard with cga hooked to my 1084S, dual goteks (one is hooked to the bridgeboard), xsurf, rapid road. Sound runs through a mixing pre-amp then to a cambridge soundworks surround sound system. Also splits to the monitor input. I have midi hookups going to my Roland RA-30 and Yamaha keyboard for music composition with bars and pipes. Also ibrowse, sasC for programming fun, personal paint, deluxepaint, whdload, lightwave 3d (but for LW mostly on the 040 or vampire system).

Love the amiga for music, art and games. Really getting into programming them too. Used them since a kid in the 80s.

Collection: 4xA500’s all with various 030, 020 upgrades. 3xA500 plus systems all upgraded with 030 accelerators except one with a vampire. 2xA1200’s one with an indivision 030 50mhz the other stock for now. 3xA2000’s one with a 40mhz GVP, one with a50mhz GVP and the third with a progressive peripherals 040. A4000D 040 16meg w/buddah 20 anniversary. All with bridgeboards, rapidroad usb, xsurfs. 2x a1000’s both with kickstart mods, 030 50 and 68ec020tk accelerators. Plipbox’s for networking.

All ks3.1 and 1.3 with switchers.

All have been recapped, restored, new power supplies, 1084 monitors all recapped. Ready for another 30years

Id like to hear how you make pdfs with final writer and an aarex addon?? Never heard of that. I use the newest version of Wordsworth and save as rtf I think will have to check. Pdf would be amazing tho.
