Can anyone advise if it is more likely to be my A4000 itself or the external keyboard? Note the mainboard was professionally recapped and traces repaired due to leaking battery damage around 2019.
Everything had been working fine. Recently I turned on the A4000 again after about long period (many months) of sitting idle. I have discovered the keyboard appears "laggy". Keyboard membrane was replaced in the past.
* The caps lock key is "laggy". It may need a few or multiple presses before the LED is lit. Also it may require multiple presses to be unlocked i.e. LED off.
* Numeric "+" key is not working.
* 'Q' key will sometimes register after the second press.
* Ctrl-Amiga-Amiga doesn't work.
* Right Amiga key is responsive, e.g. Right Amiga-Q to quit a program.
* Using VATTestProgram the keyboard test appears to pass but is not very responsive as in the past.
* Using DiagROM - same as above
all keys except numeric "+" are individually recognised but again not necessarily immediately and need an additional press.
Help!
