Hi all, i have an old ISA sound card i have installed the AST Advantage machine i picked up on Friday.

I have identified it to be a MaxiSound Home Studio Pro 64 however i just have the card and no drivers or manuals.

I am wondering if anyone knows where i can find a suitable driver for Windows 95/98?

I have downloaded so many drivers and tried them but it remains in the other devices with no drivers installed in the device manager.

I guess my google-fu is just not good enough so can anyone help me out please?

Another thing i am having trouble with is my 3dfx accelerator card. I have identified it as a voodoo1 3dfx card and have installed it in the pci slot. Using the passthrough vga cable i have the vga out to the input of the 3dfx card and then the monitor into the output on the 3dfx card. Everything seems to be working and windows boots up but doesn't actually detect the card. Should it pick the card up and ask for drivers or does it just do its job silently?

Thanks

Mike

Hi Mike,
just found this web site using the wayback machine.
--->link . Maybe there are some drivers for your sound card. Good luck. Looks like a descent sound card.
