I have an IDE COntroller for my A1200. Can someone identify this thing for me? Also I want to connect a CD/DVD Rom drive to the controller. What do I need for this with OS 3.2.2.1

Correct jumpering is the key because it's IDE (ATAPI).

I found this here. DOwnloaded the one with the most downloads and now I'm hanging at the how to install side? There is no Installer for the driver and here I'am clueless.
Ah now I see. There is a guide in the folder. It tells me what comes where. Now I have to try it out. Hope it will work.

Seems the ide controller is to big for the recapped a1200. I cannot get a connection. Is there a riser for the port available anywhere or maybe a smaller IDE controller?

Maybe 4xEIDE'99 fits better and it is also available to purchase.

I don't know either of these products but they seem to be more of a splitter than a controller. With a controller you'll also get more performance. For example Elbox's FastATA 1200.
