Hello,
I am working on the new mechanical keyboard for my Amiga 1200 - I want a new one.
My A1200 has really yellow keycaps. My second A1200 does not have keyboard at all...
I want to use my amiga and dont want to have the gunk feel when typing on my yellowed key caps.
The point is: we have [help] and [del] keys quite large on the top line above arrow keys.
What would you say if I would add additional key there? It would make three buttons in the line: [Del], [Help], [Pin].
I was thinking about two things: it would make all three buttons smaller (regular size) and you would get an additional button that would be "lockable" with external pins provided on the PCB?
Usecase would be for example to lock the configuration pins on the memory card (i.e. disabling ram above 4MB for PCMCIA) from the keyboard - without opening the computer.
I created this post because minimal amount of keycaps that I can order from factory is .... large, so maybe I will have keyboards for sale in the future....
btw. Similar question might come in regards to Fn keys.
