Ok guys, I've got another date here, it seems we had a mark in our planner for something, but its not actually for anything right now! So I claimed it.

So I can make Saturday 17th March too.

I'd suggest sometime in March so that the enthusiasm doesn't die down. Whilst we are on a roll. I think the weekends 17th or 31st March. I'll only be there one day but that doesn't stop the rest of you doing a weekender :)

I also suggest we don't go nuts with extra tables just yet. Maybe we should just bring a certain amount of machines. two or Three WHDLoaders next to the TV's on the floor and a couple of "serious" Amigas on the dining table and a space for doing some soldering....

Yes you're absolutely right. We are 5 who can make it on the 17th (2 more from of this site) so lets just agree on that date :D
I have 3 a500s with loads of games and then some of you bring the rest as you suggested.

Damn, too bad. I'm in Belgium that weekend. Ærgeligt.
Perhaps next time. :)

@Sokurah, don't worry, we can have more meetups in future. I just think we need to start it up and get dates set quick, then we can make it a regular thing if it all works out well. So yes, next time man!

Ok poll added :)

I'd say the times suggested earlier are good. Get to TroelsDK's place starting from 10am onwards, and if you bring your own matress there is an option to stay over and carry on Sunday too :)

If you vote yes, i'd suggest PM's to TroelsDK for his address etc.

Thats too bad :(
But I'm sure it will be a succes, and that it wont be the last of it's kind :)

Cant do the 17th either.

So...
Are we still on for the 17th?
I am really Amiga-happy and cannot wait to let my Miggy meet it's cousins.

That's great!
I was considering buying some stuff to put in my Amiga 1200 before our meetup, but I guess it would be a great opportunity to see how it works in real life on your Amigas (and it is probably too late to get them before the 17th now anyways).

So please bring everything for your crazy Amiga 1200, Phipscube - also the PSX->DB9 adapters, please. Are they Paul Willingham, Kipper2K build or something else? I want some, but Paul has apparently stopped making them and Kipper has also gone underground as far as I can see :(
If there are no alternatives, I might end up creating a frankenstein mod with a real CD32 controller or the Competition Pro, but I am hesitant to modify classic hardware like that...

If anybody have a HxC Floppy Emulator, I would love to try that out in real life too.

Yo guys! Yep i'm still on for 17th too, its in the family calendar so its set in stone. I'll bring my A1200 aye, I'm currently doing a slight change to my DVD drive (hand soldering the IDE cables directly to the JAE 50 connector to save 2mm) And its going well ATM. I should have a 9.5mm DVD drive coming this week too, which was kindly given at shipping cost from Retrofan, so if I get chance I want that in too :) I would like to get MY OS 4.1 partition going again if I get time, I wrecked it recently. OS 3.9 is still midway and useable at least. Just not much on it. I spend most of my Amiga time hardware hacking :D

Hopefully I don't screw anything up! If I do, i'll still bring the old girl either way.

I'll also bring my PSX adapters, they were made by Paul. Its a shame to hear he has stopped making them, nice guy to deal with. I can also bring 2X CD32 PRO pads and 2 Comp Pro Joysticks (new remakes by individual).

But anyway KTC mate, just bring your A1200 as it is on the day :)

Everybody is free to bring whatever they can carry :) I will probably borrow some extra chairs and a table from a neighbour... And we will have a BLAST!

So far we'll be 6 attending:
Phipscube, Tbtorro, KTC, me, a friend of mine Michael, and another dane from Virum.

Can't wait! :D

Just a quick note guys, I haven't had any requests so far for soldering jobs, so last chance to check in - because then I have choose to bring the right soldering gear (I don't want to carry all as they are very heavy). Else I just bring my A1200 and a laptop.

I don't need any soldering atm, but thanks though and will probably have you help me out some other time :)

On another note.... I've set everything I have up for some great days of gaming! I don't have much space at my disposal, but I think we'll do just all right! :D

I was compiling a list of all my stuff, but I will probably not get it finished in time... Anyways, it included some stuff that I am considering we could mod a bit. I will write those here:

A500 (+PSU) with RAM expansion and a replaced floppy drive. If I remember correctly it doesn't detect disk changes, though. Maybe it could be fixed? I haven't really looked into it, but it might be a project for modding at the meetup.

CD32 with flaky sound. Could be fun to bugtest and maybe fix too :)

Amitech Silent Drive external floppy drive. I repaired the power switch and attached the broken plastic for the activity diode the other day, but it still doesn't work, so the diode is probably busted. This could be a project too, but somebody would have to bring a replacement diode (the present one is a small surface mount type).

2 * Alfa Data automatic mouse/joystick switchers. One of them needs a new cord, though. I am considering mounting longer cables for them, and I just ordered them now. Could be a project, but a simple mod I would do on my own (maybe even before the meetup). Would anybody like to see the "operation"?

I'm not really needing any solder jobs, I do enough of that alone. I'm mostly wanting to play games and drink beers :D But as I said earlier I can be of assistance to anyone who needs it. I'll bring a bag of random caps too.

I've been trying to get my A12' running again with OS 4.1 just so it can show something. I managed to get it up to Update 4 and online the other night but it was crashing out lastnight, I may end up tinkering a bit when at the meetup but beer might stop me :D . So if anyone wants to see OS 4.1 it will kind of run I hope.

OS 3.9 is nice and steady and I loaded Quake II on just for something uber to play, its running nice and with CD audio too :) So my Amiga will mainly play Wipeout 2097 and Quake II. I expect you guys will want me to take the hood off too :D

I'm looking forward to the day! I've printed off all the itenaries from www.rejseplanen.dk I'm taking the E train to Lyngby, then 200S Bus to Rødovre Centrum, then walking. I should be there around 11:15 am :)

first of all guys have fun and dont forget the piccys and maybe a video.

Thanks John mate :) I'll fo-sho take pics and the odd vid (as long as the other guys don't mind) :)
