I just got a (I'm assuming a clone) MegAChip for my system, but everywhere I read says to connect the flylead to Gary's pin 36. the problem is, the MegiChip I bought has 2 flyleads, and I can't find any information which matches it on the 2 hardware cataloging sites (I know of), or anywhere on google. any ideas?

edit: actually, I believe it may be a revision of the CP MegiChip found here, but that still doesn't help me much, as the wires are both the same gray on mine, but red and black on the older one. Do I assume the connections on the MegiChip are in the same locations as on the older board?

edit: again, no, I just looked closer, the wires are on the corner south of pin 1 on the older board, but right at pin 1 on mine.

edit: sorry, forgot to post pics. HERE, since the forum wouldn't let me upload them.

Thanks muchly!! 1 more question, though. In the 2 pics showing the underside of the Gary sled, it looks like the 2 flylead pins are cut? or am I imagining that? I'm assuming they're not, since the flyleads are meant to override Gary's memory logic, right?

You're assuming right, the pins are not cut, just solder both flyleads to pin 35-36 (A19-A20) of Gary socket.

Here you have the pinout of Gary chip (post #16):

Be sure to align the notch of the socket (and Gary chip) the same way as marked on mobo.
