I'm interested if you can accept Paypal. Sorry but wire transfer is way too expensive and a lot of work for me. (USA...)

Thank for your interest.

But how this Paypal works? I have heard of it...

Erm.. What do you mean bank transfer is so expensive? Will there be additional costs?

I can make bank transfers in the UK for free. The same can't be said for making payments to non UK based banks.

So If I was to buy this game and pay by bank transfer It would cost me a lot more.

If I paid with Paypal it would cost me approximately 4% extra or free if I used Paypal gift payment.

I'm very sorry to hear such a bad news from UK :(

I have ordered goods from Amigakit from UK and I haven't got extra fees (or so I believe at least).

I visited to Paypal net site. I'm very suspicios of these kind of things.

What kind of feelings people have this Paypal? Can you trust this system?

Amigakit is registered to accept card payments as a retailer. They will pay a fee for this, but it makes them more accessible to buyers so it's worth it to them. As an individual or small independent trader these facilities are either not available or prohibitively expensive.

PayPal is part of the same group as eBay and allows individuals to access card payment facilities through a simple online account and email address. They take fees from users and probably also from card companies, but by providing a cost effective means of people paying eachother they have made massive profits. Some people don't like giving money to such a dominant company with a virtual monopoly, but with little other options there's not much choice. It's a massive company who's not going to run away with your money and disappear so it can be trusted imo. They offer some kind of protection for purchase transactions but I'm not sure how they resolve a dispute if neither party accepts fault.

I hadn't ever sold anything online until a couple of months ago, but I've now sold most of my Amiga kit on Amibay and every sale has been through PayPal. It's been a simple and smooth process and every sale has gone through without a problem. A couple of people accidentally passed the fees onto me when I'd advised they pay the fees as part of the terms of sale, but I just reminded them of this and returned the payment and they then re-made payment to the correct amount.
