I have this quite rare board for the A500. Most of you know this version which is for the A1000. Mine comes with the upper deck and Stardrive module. But I cannot get it to work. I think mine needs an AC adaptor as it has a port on the back. Unfortunately, I do not have the adaptor nor are there any markings on what volts it needs. Anyone have any info on this board? What type of adaptor do I need for it?

going by most of the components in these at the time its more than likely +5 volts for the components,you would just have to be carefull of the polarity so you dont reverse the current(you can work this out by the capacitors and trace it back to the input jack)
it also probably requires about 2amps at 5 volts at a guess.
i cant tell if it takes more than 2 voltages as i cant see the input jack at all,obviosly ones that have a harddrive take +5 and +12 volts to run.
thats of course,if it actually works at all in the first place before trying this.
