Millennium-Era PC build, assembled from original period-correct parts.

The system has been fully tested for stability and functionality. Each component was individually tested before assembly, and the complete system was tested as a whole. Additional images and videos are available here.

ASUS P2B motherboard
Intel Celeron 1 GHz (Socket 370 CPU on Slot 1 adapter; detected as Pentium III in BIOS due to microcode limitations)
512 MB RAM (2X256 MB Hynix)
3dfx Voodoo 3 3000 (with additional 50 mm cooling fan)
Creative Sound Blaster AWE64 ISA
Compaq NC3120 (Intel 82558) 100 Mbps network card
Adaptec 2940U SCSI controller
Yamaha CRW6416S SCSI CD-RW drive
Pioneer DVD-305S SCSI DVD drive
Quantum LCT20 10.2 GB HDD
Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 8 40 GB HDD
Chinon FZ-357 floppy drive (jumper-selectable, also usable as Amiga DD drive)
Achme 250 W ATX power supply
Original yellowed ATX case with period-correct patina, adding to the authentic retro look.

Drives are wiped and freshly formatted for legal reasons. No operating system is installed, allowing the buyer to choose their preferred OS.

Optional swaps:

- Replace the 10 GB HDD with an additional 40 GB drive
- Achme PSU with an Enermax 365P-VE
- Celeron 1.1 GHz or Slot 1 Pentium III 700 MHz
- Diamond Monster MX300 (Aureal Vortex 2)

Packaging:

The complete system weighs over 10 kg. It will be carefully wrapped in a bed blanket, then reinforced with thick corrugated cardboard, securely taped in multiple layers to ensure safe transport and prevent damage during shipping.

Price is €650 plus shipping. Payment via PayPal or Revolut is accepted.


Shipping:

Worldwide shipping is available, except to Brazil and African countries. Within the EU, the system is shipped as a priority insured parcel. For all other destinations, shipping is via UPS only, providing reliable delivery within approximately 3 business days. For customs compliance reasons, the CMOS battery will be removed before dispatch. Send me a dm for shipping costs, which vary by country.


I plan to build and offer similar retro systems and additional retro hardware in the near future.

Edit: My motherboard sales thread was locked, then after I uploaded photos it was accepted, and now it has been deleted again… The same thing happened with the video cards. I was hoping I could bring some joy by offering hundreds of fully working, thoroughly tested pieces of hardware for sale, not just “promised to work” items. I thought this forum would at least not be like Facebook Marketplace.
