"Sith Lord" or "Darth D***y" might be more appropriate...

heahea...that jingle made me brace for impact:picard...and GF left the livingroom :help:

^^ This ^^

I can imagine a lot of people pushing back from the desk with a :wooha: expression on their face too....

Why would he want an A4000 or A1200? Those are filled with weak surface mount components, while everybody knows that only computers with through-hole soldered components are truly reliable!

He actually stated on his old forum that the A600/1200 and 4000 in particular were 'junk' because of low cost standard in build quality/corners cut (which does have some truth in it if you compare to earlier Amiga's and C='s saving money around then - they're not that bad though as many still live to this day :) )

ha completely suppressed the 'only amiga' song ... now I find myself watching intro marathon in hope the soothing old music tunes will make me happy again heheh

I'm really an outsider to the Amiga scene, and it surprises me that the "military spec" thing spread far enough from its point of origin that even I came to know about it (and have done since goodness knows when) and had a smile whilst reading through this thread. :p (Though I can honestly say that I could have lived without hearing that rendition of the Amiga promotional song again...)
