Built this myself a couple of months ago because it would've been too expensive to import one from the official shop based in Canada thanks to VAT (+22% here) and high import taxes, plus the only color available is purple and I wanted it in matte black with gold (ENIG) finish

I originally planned to make a fancy Amiga mini ITX build with this board (it's 170x170mm as standard mini ITX boards) but I don't have enough time to dedicate to this project right now so I prefer to sell the board to someone that actually uses it instead of keeping it around collecting dust for the foreseeable future :)

This is one of the latest versions of the Minimig, with built-in ARM controller, 6MB of onboard RAM and a lot of convenient features

The 68000 CPU is included (not visible in the photos)
This board is also compatible with accelerators like the PiStorm

The 6MB of RAM can be configured in different ways, 0.5MB is always reserved to the Kickstart ROM and the rest can configured from the menu, for example you can have
  • 2MB of chip RAM
  • 2MB of fast RAM
  • 1.5MB of slow RAM
  • 0.5MB reserved for the ROM
The Kickstart ROM is loaded in RAM at boot directly from the MicroSD, so switching between Kickstart versions is just a matter of replacing a file on the card. Floppy disk images (.ADF) are also loaded from the MicroSD card using the onscreen menu that opens by pressing F12 on the keyboard.

  • PS/2 mouse/keyboard ports - builtin conversion to support PS/2 peripherals without external adapters
  • VGA video output in PAL (15KHz) or 31KHz mode (switchable)
  • 3.5mm audio jack stereo output
  • DB9 serial port instead of the larger DB25
  • Standard DB9 joystick ports
The board has been tested with Amiga Test Kit and DiagROM. I ran a full RAM test, CIA and floppy test, serial port test, joystick ports test, etc. Also tested Workbench 1.3 and 2.1 plus a few random games on floppy.

What you need to use this board:
  • Power supply (2 alternatives: common 5V to 12V supply with a barrel jack using the connector on the top right --OR-- an ATX power supply with the standard 24 pin molex connector as you can see on the bottom left)
  • Micro SD card
The ATX power supply is optional, you only need it if you plan to make a mini ITX style build, using a PC power supply and power/reset button + power LED connected to the pin header labelled "Front Panel". Otherwise you can power it with a standard "brick" power supply from 5V to 12V

Since documentation on the official website is a bit unclear at times I will provide a link to download the necessary files to put on the MicroSD card, I had to figure things out myself with some trial and error. You will have to source the Kickstart ROM yourself because it's copyrighted material

Price: 300€ + shipping (I ship it in a large box inside an antistatic bag and a lot of padding, with optional insurance)

EU only, if you're from the US or Canada it's probably cheaper for you to buy one from the official website
